AURORA SOFTWARE ANNOUNCES VERSION 2.0 OF QUICKSTART QuickStart 2.0 will
support NEXTSTEP for Intel Processors

MADISON, WI --- April 20, 1993 --- Aurora Software announced today that
version 2.0 of QuickStart(TM) will ship next month.  This version will run on
NEXTSTEP for NeXT computers and on NEXTSTEP for Intel Processors.

QuickStart 2.0 adds powerful new features to QuickStart, including support for
documents and folders, sections, invisible application tiles and automatic
system load monitoring.  In addition, QuickStart has been enhanced to take
advantage of NEXTSTEP 3.0.

"In QuickStart 2.0 we aimed to create the ultimate dock extender/application
organizer," said Victor Barger, president of Aurora Software.  "By supporting
NEXTSTEP for Intel Processors in this release, we are demonstrating our
dedication to NEXTSTEP."

Barger anticipates an enormous demand for QuickStart among portable computer
users, who generally suffer from limited screen space. QuickStart 2.0 sports
special features to help such users utilize all available screen space.

QuickStart has a suggested retail price of $79.  Site license pricing is
